Studio City residents are concerned after a homeless person set up a makeshift dwelling on the embankment of the Los Angeles River on top of a high pressure natural gas pipeline. On Monday, SoCal Gas was notified of a homeless encampment near a natural gas pipeline near Moorpark street and Radford avenue. Residents say they’ve continually contacted authorities and utility companies, with no success. “I’ve already thought a million times that this whole street is just gonna go Kaboom!” said Cody Brainard who lives in the area. “It’s like our hands are tied at some point without anybody going out there and actually physically tearing down the encampment and getting getting rid of whoever’s over there.”Studio City residents are concerned about a Homeless encampent in Studio City on top of a high pressure natural gas pipeline Social media and neighborhood watch apps are filled with conversation about the situation and concerns about a potential explosion. A demonstration at the University of Southern California turned to chaos Friday when violence erupted between Armenia protesters and Turkish diplomats. The violence broke out following a conference on Turkish foreign policy at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Armenian students and community members were protesting the timing of the conference when things grew heated. Video captured a handful of protestors chasing after the diplomats, including the Turkish Ambassador, yelling and throwing bottles at them. It’s when one of the diplomats is backed up against the wall that fists start flying. “It’s incredibly shameful that USC Annenberg chooses to host an event like this in this time of mourning,” Sonia Meroian, a board member on the Armenian Student Association, told KTLA. “I know USC ASA only had condoned peaceful demonstrations and the peaceful actions of the students. With regard to anybody who was not a student, we don’t represent them, and we...The top 10 most expensive home sales in Fremont, reported the week of Sep. 18

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — If there is any image that should stick in the minds of the New York Giants after being thoroughly beaten by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night it’s the sight of quarterback Daniel Jones being sacked 10 times.Every time, the $160 million quarterback went back to pass, there was a white shirt or two in his face forcing him to either run, get rid of the ball or hold it as he was sent repeatedly to the turf in the Seahawks’ 24-3 win at MetLife Stadium.Seattle tied a franchise record with 11 sacks but one of those was recorded against receiver Parris Campbell on a trick play where he was going to throw a pass.“I mean give credit to their defense,” Jones said after another inept performance by New York’s offense. “They rush hard and play well together, but I’ve got to do a better job getting through my reads, getting the ball out of my hand, and making quick decisions, so I’ll definitely look to work on that.”If there was one play Jones wo...Dos militares mueren y otros 12 quedan heridos al accidentarse su vehículo

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Gun Show is coming back to town after being turned away at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Gov. Gavin Newsom prohibited all gun shows on state property, sending gun show organizers searching for alternative venues. “The fairgrounds were the perfect venue for a gun show, it is exactly the type of venue we needed,” said Michael Schwartz from the San Diego County Gun Owners Pac. Now, the San Diego Gun Show has headed off the coast. “We are having to be creative and improvise. We are out at a Masonic Temple out in the east side of the city of San Diego, they’ve been very welcoming,” Schwartz said.
